About Dr. Youssra Marjoua
Youssra Marjoua, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Born in Tunisia, she immigrated to the U.S. with her family at the age of eleven. Dr. Marjoua completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California Berkeley and graduated Magnum Cum Lade. While at Berkeley she was an integral contributor to an integrative biology research lab, and was also a member of the women’s varsity volleyball team.
Dr. Marjoua then earned her medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine. During medical school, she also obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She then applied her graduate studies to contribute as a Health Policy Fellow in the office of a U.S. Senator, as well as to improve the supply chain platform for international orthopedic care in resource-poor settings.
